"There are times in your life you just need help. For me and my family this was a time of need. My Father suddenly passed away in December of 2023. As you can imagine it was a tragic loss. Given he and my Step-Mother lived in TN and we were in MI made it more difficult. So many things to deal with, but we pushed through. One of the items on my list was insurance for the home along with all the vehicles, motorcycles and boats. My Father was a faithful customer of State Farm Darrin Thompson’s office. The first call I placed for help, Darrin, Fran and Lisa were indeed there to assist. Everything was moving along until the spring storms Tornado’s and Tornado winds ripped through Paris, TN and the surrounding communities. Thank goodness we were informed of the damage. Immediately I phoned Darrin’s office and Lisa came to the rescue. Little did I know who much I began to rely on her for her guidance and comfort. It took 6 weeks to go through the process but it went smoother than any insurance loss transaction I’ve ever encountered. We became friends not just a customer vendor relationship. Anything I needed or even things I didn’t know I needed help Lisa and the team were there. Even Darrin visited the home to assess the damage and report the details back to me. I’m beyond grateful for the compassion and patience during this trying time. We are now in the finals stages of working with the contractors and body shop suggested by Lisa for repairs of damage due to wind and fallen trees.
